100th Day of School!!!
We have been counting the days of school since our very first day in September and we are almost there! Wednesday, Feb 17th will mark the 100th day of first grade.  We will have some fun activities to celebrate this special day in our class.

Writing- Our writing folders are full of lots of great writing pieces since we started school in September. I am going to send them home to make room for all of the great writing yet to come :) I know that your child is going to be very excited to share their stories with you!

Science- We are just finishing our study of plants.  We have quite a few plants growing in our window from paperwhites to garlic to potatoes!! Next up we will be learning all about Air and Weather!

Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday, Feb. 12th (teacher PD day) and Monday, Feb. 15th (President’s Day).

Thank you for supporting your child at home. It has been a great start to 2016!!
